Eric Dachman

Eric Dachmann is a freshman at Arizona State University. He is the first place winner of Bridgestone Americas’ 2009 Safety Scholars Video Contest. As one of the four grand prize winners, Eric received a $5,000 college scholarship and has the chance to have his video air on TV as a public service announcement. His film focused on texting behind the wheel. It was important for him to convey the dangers of texting on the road and the potential impact it has on life. He believes most teens feel confident texting while driving, but his video proves anything can happen behind the wheel if you don’t pay attention. To view Eric’s video, click here
